Excellent restaurant. Good from all perspectives and not eye wateringly expensive. Great ambiance, fantastic service that was friendly but not intrusive. The food was fantastic. This jewel is not for people who want to eat and run, it is for taking your time and savouring the dishes served. La Gourmandière was recommended by friends, and they were not wrong in the estimation of the quality. I'm sure we will be returning soon, and I hope to be able to tell the chef personally how much we appreciate his talents.
This place is a must visit. The atmosphere is spectacular. The service is absolutely impeccable. The chef is a very good. We have eaten here more than once. Each meal topping the previous one. The Chef also speaks English with ease. Make sure you leave room for the cheese plate, and dessert.
Lovely food, lots of choice on the menu. The service was excellent and unhurried. We will definitely be back
Lovely food, very well presented, nice staff, but it felt like we were in someone's back garden with the swimming pool being at the side of us and the wine was very expensive. Also not everyone likes jazz music so some variety of background music would be better.
Comfortable, personable, great menu, extensive wine list. This restaurant sets the standard of French cuisine that others can only aspire to.
Superb food, excellent service, amazingly good value. La Gourmandiere is certainly an upscale establishment, and is decorated and furnished as such. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and are very serious about running a restaurant properly. The effort that goes into every dish is exceptional, even when dining from the cheaper lunch menus. House wine is available by the carafe.
Excellent French food. Service friendly and efficient. Wine rather expensive (€27 for cheap bottle of rose) Will return.
